Post Natal Class - Mother & Baby Yoga
After childbirth, your body undergoes some major changes and you will need gentle, therapeutic and relaxing yoga exercises and stretches to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. The well-being of your baby also depends upon your ability to nurture and satisfy his or her needs. With Red Onion Post Natal Classes you will grow stronger, more confident, calmer, and better able to nurture your baby, as well as the other members of your family. Mother and Baby Yoga
Mother and baby Yoga is a natural progression from Baby Massage and is a joint practice that allows both carer and infants to exercise together. Post natal Yoga is adapted from Hatha Yoga postures, which allows you to stretch, relax and have fun with your baby in a safe environment. The classes will contain a mix of dynamic exercises, special holds and relaxation techniques, to build the emotional bond between you and your baby and offers physical stimulation for your baby to help in the prevention of colic & constipation, strengthen the muscles in legs and at the base of the spine as well as develop balance in your baby sitting, crawling and walking.
