Christina has been practising and studying yoga with teachers from different traditions for over a decade. Her qualifications include a teaching diploma course with the British Wheel of Yoga and specialist training in a variety of subjects, including: Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, Meditation and Personal Development, and Yoga for People Living with Cancer. Her classes are friendly and adapted to the individual needs of every student, regardless of their age or physical ability.

Yoga For Pregnancy

If you are finding it hard to relax now you’re expecting, Red Onion anti-natal classes are the perfect solution. Creating a pleasant and relaxing environment, Working to your own level, we use yoga to prepare your body for childbirth. You will work on relaxation and stretching to keep your body toned and graceful, breathing techniques and useful positions for a smoother labour and birth.

Even if you are new to yoga the simplest poses will improve your fitness and well being, whilst the relaxation, breathing and meditation can help you to handle the whole birthing process with greater assurance and calm, and most of all giving you a sense of control! Learn more.

What do I wear?

  • Comfortable exercise clothes that let you have full range of motion and allow the instructor to see your alignment and muscle use. Keep jewellery to a minimum and in courtesy to other students refrain from wearing strong scents
